Sabina, Augusta, 128-136/7. Sestertius (Orichalcum, 34 mm, 30.33 g, 5 h), Rome. SABINA AVGVSTA HADRIANI AVG P P Diademed and draped bust of Sabina to right. Rev. VENERI GENETRICI / S - C Venus standing front, head to right, raising cloak from shoulder with her right hand and holding apple in her left. BMC 1883. Cohen 74. RIC 1035. An impressive example, struck on a broad and heavy flan flan and with a fine dark green patina. Minor smoothing, otherwise, about extremely fine.
